Freddie Effinger
Freddie Effinger is an experienced advocate in Social Security Disability law, with nearly 15 years of expertise in guiding clients through the disability claims process. His includes diverse legal roles, but he has focused primarily on Social Security Disability since starting at the SSA’s Office of Hearings Operations in 2010. Now a full-time representative for clients, he also teaches Disability Benefits Law at the University of Alabama and Cumberland School of Law, and frequently speaks at legal conferences. Outside of work, Freddie enjoys spending time with family, pets, and pursuing hobbies like writing and karaoke. Roll Tide!
Carrie Tucker-Ruberte, Esq.
Carrie Tucker-Ruberte, Esq. is a seasoned Social Disability attorney with over 20 years of experience in private practice, government, and non-profits. As the founding attorney of Ruberte & Associates, LLC, she leads a successful virtual practice focused on Social Security Disability and SSI claims, achieving high success rates in and appeals. A member of the Alabama State Bar and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR), she is fluent in Spanish and dedicated to helping clients navigate benefits. Outside of work, Carrie enjoys family time, traveling, flamenco, and cooking.
